With Mother’s Day less than 2 weeks away, we thought we’d share with you this brilliant Origami activity to make a tulip, so that you can create something special for Mum!
To make your tulip, just and print out the PDF below – we’ve even included 2 sheets of Origami paper for you to cut out, so that you can get started straight away! Then just follow folding instructions to make a beautiful tulip!
Instead of flowers, brighten up her day with a bunch of Origami tulips that she can treasure forever – they even stand on their own so you could put them on her window sill or bedside table. Or perhaps you could decorate a card with your tulip and write a special message, telling her how special she is.
PS: Did you know that Origami is the traditional Japanese art of folding paper into decorative shapes and figures, which started in the 17th century. The name comes from two Japanese words, “ori” meaning to fold, and “kami” meaning paper
